CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUCCESS!
The Gary Lloyd Studio have had a very busy year so far! Our Part Time and Workshop students performed and caused a stir at Move It! - the UK's biggest dance exhibition at Olympia. Gary taught many classes from Hip Hop to Musical Theatre as well as taking a seminar on his career so far and our stand was a popular hang out! The event was a huge success and all the kids involved had a wicked time.. We then followed that with a jam packed Easter Course! The students (and teachers!) worked on lots of material in their three days and the show was more impressive than ever. We continue into the summer with our Part Time Classes where the students will each work on solo/group performances in acting, dancing, singing and choreography for our annual awards. The prizegiving show will take place on Saturday 12th July. These classes are not only for young people interested in performance, I am very keen to involve musicians, writers of music and script, designers and stage managers so we can produce original material from our own students. For the performers you will partake in professional classes in each discipline followed by a rehearsal/workshop for the end of term production which could be a musical, play or variety show. We are now accepting applications for our second Summer workshops which will be held in Sydenham but also due to overwhelming demand in Rayleigh, Essex at the Masters College of Performing Arts.
